From Estimation To Accuracy
Abstract or Summary of Project
Agak Agak – to guess or estimate.
This project serves to provide a solution to the primary challenge of a beginner cook trying to obtain an accurate measure of ingredients by equipping them with a customisable measuring kit. The accompanying set of tools will act as a template for them to practice the concept of estimation which is prevalent in most Asian recipes and ideally, in the process of doing so, helps to preserve a recipe and its heritage.
Products:
– bowl (an equivalent measure of ‘a handful’)
– spoon (an equivalent measure of ‘a pinch of salt’; ‘a thumb’)
– set of 3 eggshells (an equivalent measure of ‘half an eggshell of’)
