TableTalks is an interactive art installation that aims to create the sense of community by questioning visitors their relation to food.

The installation invites participants to take part in this virtual dining experience,in which they are accompanied by people who broadcasts their eating videos. Tabletalks is intended as a form of reflection for people who crave the company of others who often ended up dining alone. These eating videos may create the feeling of companionship, where it has brought positive effects to other sections of society. For instance, the videos as a medium can act as stimulators to some people’s appetites i.e. induce cravings. Likewise, it can also function as a ‘dieting tool’ for those who want to control their food consumption.
