No more embed codes, shortcodes, or embed plugins needed; just the URL will do.
With the new upgrade to WordPress 3.5 recently, it brings us new features and improvements to Blogs@NTU. One of it is the way to embed media to your blog posts and this article shares how simple.
For example:
| Check out this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vlw7tM7UyS This is cool! |
Be sure to paste the URL on a line by itself and make sure it isn’t hyperlinked. WordPress will automatically turn that into an embedded YouTube video when the post is viewed.
You may also wrap the URL with the [embed] shortcode to add in a specific size.
For example:
| Check out this video:
[embed width=”123″ height=”456″]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vlw7tM7UyS [/embed] This is cool! |
