Military efforts has been engaged to confiscate timbers which were obtained illegally, chase loggers out of protected areas and to train ranger teams to respond immediately when there is an alert of illegal loggers in the vicinity of protected sites. However, there is a lack of funds, vehicles and equipment to execute the tasks effectively.
