Conservation in Indonesia

Geographically, Indonesia is a neighbour to Singapore which makes both have similar climate and natural characteristic. Indonesia comprises of 10,000 islands and it was once known as the Jade of the Equator. In Indonesia, you can find thousands and even millions of species in its rainforest, and here is also the only habitat to the endangered Komodo Dragon in the world.

Having many islands, which is mostly unpopulated, Indonesia is one of the popular nestling region for sea turtle. Sea turtle nests can be found almost throughout the country, from Sumatra island in the west to Papua island in the east. However, only those conservation in Bali and Lombok will be elaborated and be focused on.
