NParks’ mission used to be “Creating a Garden City”. In August 2011, NParks changed its mission to creating “City in a Garden”. The new framework under this mission consist of 6 the following 6 key areas to make Singapore a more green and endearing home to our citizens:

• Rejuvenate Urban Parks and Enliven our Streetscape
• Enhance Competencies and Productivity of our Landscape and Horticulture Industry
• Enrich Biodiversity in our Urban Environment
• Engage and inspire communities to co-create a greener Singapore
