There are a few efforts to help the malayan sun bear’s declining population. The main efforts are the zoos and the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSBCC) where both aims to protect the sun bear species and educate others about the sun bear population predicament. Another effort that is being vaguely mentioned will be the government intervention where rules and regulations are placed to prevent the bears from being poached.
