That’s me, Sonia. I am from Argentina, been here in Singapore 6 years. One of the things I love about this island is the insane amount of outdoor reserves there are, all within close proximity. The picture above is me in Chinese Gardens, one of my favorites. As a foreigner. I like to seize opportunities to learn more about what it’s like to grow up here. A distinct and enchanting quality of Singapore is the amount of greenery everywhere you look, so what I wonder is, how does this contribute to the upbringing of its residents? Does it shape who they become?
This blog is my chance to explore this by taking a research-based approach, accompanied with my own personal observations. Don’t be put off by the term ‘research-based,’ I’ll try and keep it light and fun, as well as keeping that ever so elusive jargon to a minimum. What I can guarantee is that this will not take away from the accuracy of what I will be discussing. Now enough intro, onto blogging!
