Severn Cullis-Suzuki is a mentor for the Girls Action Foundation, a charitable organisation based in Canada which aims to build confidence in girls and young women’s, and inspire them to make a change for the world.
Girls Action Foundation introduced a Light a SPARK campaign, where mentors share their “SPARK”-a person who inspired them. Cullis-Suzuki shared that her mother, Tara Cullis was the “SPARK” in her life. Unafraid to stand up against injustice and being always positive and determined, Tara Cullis is a role model for her daughter. Cullis-Suzuki is proud to be part of the Light a SPARK campaign simply because she believes that there are lots of potential in girls, and we will need them to lead the world. As a mentor for the Girls Action Foundation, she hopes to be a SPARK for girls and inspire them to achieve great things.
