Singapore’s Aim as a “City in a Garden”

From the rapid industrialization, most of our forests are cleared. Despite having most of the natural areas cleared, Singapore makes use of about 50% of our land for green plants to make our country most livable. Through a controlled growth and an economic-driven philosophy, we built more man-made nature than natural landscapes. Being one of the world’s most densely populated country, Singapore aims to turn itself from a garden city to a city in a garden.
