Harvard

Al gore initially enrolled into Harvard intending to major in English and Literature. However, he later on changed his major to Government. On the second day of school, he began campaigning for the freshman student council and was elected as president.

Al gore graduated from Harvard in 1969 and it was there that it first paved his future in politics and solidified his interest in the environment. In his senior year, Al Gore took a class with oceanographer and global warming theorist Roger Revelle. The class with Revelle was a stepping-stone to the works that Al Gore has accomplished today as an environmentalist.

Here’s a fun fact!

Al Gore and the actor Tommy Lee Jones were roommates back when they were both in Harvard.
