The Academy Award winning documentary film documents on Al Gore’s journey in educating people and raising awareness on climate change and global warming. It has gone on to inspire producer Kevin Wall to start the event Live Earth, a global music event that takes place at multiple venues around the world that draws attention in advocating the presence of the climate crisis and the impacts of global warming.

The film stars, Al Gore, of course and his mission to travel around the United States and the world with a mission. Armed with a keynote slideshow, Al Gore traveled around to spread his message—the present and future effects of global warming. He approached the situation in various levels by being vulnerable about his personal life as well as adopting the scientific approach. Snippets of his private life was seen as he mentioned about what inspired him to be an advocate for the issue of climate change that he is today. Also, he approached the whole issue using a scientific approach, where it essentially means that the earth’s climate system is warming up and the major cause of this is due to human activity, which cause an increase in the emission of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere
