Change of Shelves in Collection Room
Due to lack of shelving space in the Chinese Library, some shelves will be replaced by compactus to increase the shelving capacity. Some books from the open shelf collection and all books in the special collection room have been moved to a temporary storing area. All book shelves have been removed to give way for flooring works, in preparation of the installation of new compactus shelving system. The installation shall be completed by end Nov 2010. Users who are interested in borrowing these books that have been moved can approach the Service Desk at Chinese Library for assistance.
