Since the introduction on Enterprise 2.0 (web 2.0) as the use of freeform social software with companies, many organizations have taken the advantage to ride this wave. It is due to characteristic of the software architecture, as Harvard, (IT) on Businesses and their Leaders ">Prof McAfee coined some pointers to the development of Enterprise 2.0. Corporate blog is one of the modules built or collaborate under the infrastructure of Enterprise 2.0 planning. A number of industry has observed this “2.0” movement and efforts and shared, such as library 2.0 and Lunch 2.0.

What is library 2.0?
The term library 2.0 refers to a model to revolutionize the brick and mortar of library services into a new reflection with the industry in a way that services are delivered efficiently and effective to the users. This model will also align strategically to attempt in harnessing users in the design and implementation of library services by encouraging feedback and participation.

What is Lunch 2.0?
Lunch 2.0 is a group of business focused people and groups that organized event of networks and information sharing using the elements of 2.0 technologies. They are such as blogs, wikis and social networking tools like Facebook. The unique on this idea, they are able to bring the virtual and real worlds of networking into a physical place with the growing number of participants from major cities.

One common objective or organization to deploy corporate blog is mainly due to build a long term customer relationships. Through such technology, the idea of building customer-centric business could be mould into a strong, hybrid bond, leveraging the service level dimension into another stage or area. NTU Business Library’s site is build based on the core-architecture of a simple weblog. Using the technology provided by the open source community called Wordpress, the collaboration between the library and the academic community is able to take offer at a robust information procedure. As the library rides on this tool and further development and enhanced by the subject librarians, this technology is designed to spread the advocacy of the library’s daily business operation. Apart from just this technology that the NTU Business Library rides, there are a couple of library subscribe database also has implemented weblog. They are such as Gartner Blogs and Jupiter Research’s Analyst Blog.

Gartner’s Blog
Gartner Blogs are frequently updated journals including opinions, news, ideas, commentary and Internet links. They are not the same as Gartner research. Gartner used this platform for providing the users a new way to interact with Gartner analysts and with other users. The Blogs are the only Gartner Web offering where users have an online forum to participate in the issues that affect them directly.

Jupiter Research’s Analyst Blog
While Jupiter Research’s Analyst Blog, is an overview of insight where their analyst share their finding and users are able to track their work before a report is out. Users too can interact with the analyst through their daily posting.
