The Library at Cornell University opened the Quantitative Finance archive on 8 December 2008.
The seven categories are:

Computational Finance with reference to financial markets
General Finance with reference to Economics too
Portfolio Management
Securities Pricing
Risk Management
Statistical Finance
Trading and Market Microstructure

Papers are available from 1997 onwards.

Your FYP group needs financial data to do the project properly and hand in a robust paper. But you do not know where you can get the data you need, or if the data you are looking for even exists. You can get them easily from the library.
