Singapore Youth Award Exhibition

Currently there is an exhibition at Lee Wee Nam Library–the Singapore Youth Award (SYA) Exhibition. The exhibition is organized by the National Youth Council and will run from 22 Sep to 12 Oct. A total of 9 exhibition panels will be on display, out of which 8 will feature the SYA awardees and the remaining one will highlight information about the SYA.
In conjunction with the exhibition, there is also a “Singapore Youth Award 2009 Quiz” for visitors to participate in. Complete the quiz form and drop it into the SYA box. 10 Thai Express vouchers worth $50 each are up for grabs.

中文馆在这佳节期间与中文学会合作，举办了一个展览。以上的答案都能在展览中解答。答案也许会和你意象中的不同哦！
中秋节的相关习俗与传说经过上千年的演变，受不同时代社会的影响，才慢慢变成我们今日所看到的形式。最初的模样和概念于今日地相差非常远。
展览中的书籍分“神话传说”、“中秋节”、“中秋诗词”和“灯谜”四个部分。其中“神话传说”展览了保留最原始传说记录的《淮南子》、《山海经》和《楚辞》书籍。如果你想知道为什么会有神话传说的存在和需要，就拿起另一本《诸神的起源》读读吧！
你知道灯谜指得是由诗词所组成的谜题，考验文人雅士的娱乐活动吗？它与一般百姓所玩得猜谜语是不一样的。谜语的谜题和谜底为日常生活相关的事物，与诗词有别。所以这两样相似却又不同的民间活动，各别代表了传统中国社会里的雅文化和俗文化。想知道更多，就下来展览读读关于灯谜和谜语的书籍吧！
