Chinese Autographed Books

NTU Library collaborated with the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Library to organize an exhibition showcasing the autographed works of Chinese and Singapore writers. The exhibition was held at the Chinese Library from 10 Apr to 9 May 2008.

Altogether 54 and 12 autographed works by Chinese and Singapore writers respectively were displayed during the one-month long exhibition. The majority of the autographed works by the Chinese writers were loaned from the CUHK Library whereas the rest were from the private collection of Mr Chen Shuyu.  The autographed works by Singapore writers were from NTU Library’s collection.

The works contain great historical value and are also precious cultural artifacts. Visitors were certainly captivated by the remarkable works on display.
