NTU Library is collaborating with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) to hold an exhibition entitled “Friendly Built Environment”. The exhibition will be held at Lee Wee Nam Library from 30 March to 24 April 2009.

A friendly built environment refers to one that is accessible and incorporates universal design features to cater to the special needs of different user groups. It is imperative in making Singapore an inclusive society, where people of all ages and physical conditions can continue to enjoy living in comfortable surroundings with their families and friends. Through this exhibition, it is hoped that visitors will gain a better understanding of the different issues and concerns related to our built environment.

Books relating to the exhibition theme will be on display for users to browse and reserve. In addition, there is also a “BCA: A Friendly Built Environment Quiz” for visitors to participate in. Complete the quiz form and drop into the BCA box. 5 pairs of movie tickets are up for grabs.

The 5 winners of the quiz are:

1. Teo Ting Guan

2. Chen Mengli

3. Ridwan Salim Sanad

4. Xie Yunshen
