MBA student Bhrigu Vasisht from Nanyang Business School, Nanyang technological University (NTU) was selected as one of the top 100 most inspiring MBA students worldwide. The MBA World Summit took place at IESE Business School in Barcelona from 25 – 27 March 2015.
Bhrigu Vasisht, who is in NBS Full-time MBA Class of 2015, was chosen as one of the 100 most inspiring MBA students worldwide out of 3,000 MBA applications from around the globe. The rigorous selection process required an essay followed by a video interview. The selected MBA students travelled to Barcelona to meet top executives from carefully selected companies to develop life-long networks and learn about some of the challenges that contemporary businesses face, and as future business leaders, how the MBA students can gear up for them.
The event spanned across 3 days and 2 nights in which the first evening was a light networking session over drinks. The 2nd day was dedicated to participant-led workshops as well as parallel sessions with the top executives of the companies.
The fun part kicked in on the 3rd day when participants went on a cultural expedition followed by a light lunch and a relaxing networking session at the beach club.
Overall, this was quite a unique and special experience which helped Bhrigu grow as a future professional and it has provided him with the opportunity to represent NBS at such an exclusive global event.
