Started in August 2014, Glow in the Dark (GITD) provides enrichment workshops aimed at developing youth into resilient and caring individuals. Participants are taught critical skills such as empathy and managing adversities, through a mix of practical strategies and personal sharing by the trainers.

As these workshops are conducted solely by the visually handicapped, the project also aims to provide meaningful employment opportunities and reduce any social stigma that society has for this community.

Vision: Enable every individual to unleash their potential regardless of their circumstances.

The stories the visitors tell and the videos they shared during the programme were truly inspirational and for a moment, I teared. I am confident that the students have benefited from this programme.

GITD was presented at the annual Enactus Singapore National Competition in 2015 and Enactus NTU emerged champion for the third consecutive year. GITD hopes to reach out to 1,500 students across 24 schools by April 2016.
