This project entitled “Back to the roots” is the idea of taking a step back and retrace our past history and traditions. A proverb that strikes me the most states that,
“When the roots are deep, there is no reason to fear the wind.”
The very root of our existence brings us to the question that we belong to a tradition that we must uphold. The so-called “roots” are invisible to us, but it is something that links and tethers us to the world that we exist in. The sense of belonging, the connection to a community or to our family gives us something that we are able to define ourselves.
