Manifest the Unseen at NTU ADM Portfolio

Imperfections are always desired by people to be hidden, and this project is a collection of 14 imperfect life stories from 7 people, of how their setbacks were valuable to them. The stories are portrayed through artworks with the concept of exposing the unseen imperfections, in aesthetically pleasing forms instead of how imperfections are usually viewed; “ugly”. The objective of the stories is to share with people that imperfections are valuable, and hopefully give some encouragement to anyone struggling with imperfections. Imperfections can never be removed from our lives, and only with them do we get a fuller story about someone and appreciate the person more for what they have overcame. The gist is to frame up imperfections rather than perfection, and the idea that perfection is an end-state whereas imperfection, the raw and valued side of us,  should be celebrated, for there is so much potential for development in ourselves.
