Amy Ong is a design, history and TTRPG junkie, trying to wean off from a coffee addiction. She likes to explore and learn about different disciplines and topics – including but not limited to: flag design, mythology, and frogs – to apply them to her work. Passionate about illustration and the creation of narratives and alternate worlds, she thinks about them a lot (too much) and sometimes puts them down on a piece of paper.

Final Year Project(s)
As designers, we conceptualise ideas, and design various items, memorabilia and collateral to fit projects that are often specific and time-sensitive. This inevitably creates a pool of ephemera that with their limited shelf life, turn into waste after their projects are over.
Hence, the Mayfly Project aims to highlight this issue and encourage designers to consider the lifespan of their design work – and what they can do to extend it.
