Tan Xun Yi
Tan Xun Yi, Toby, also known by the artist moniker “tobyato”, is currently an undergraduate, a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. His works have a strong inclination to include playful influences to reflect his personality and interests. Through his works, he attempts to invoke emotions in viewers to bring out the child that he believes still exists in everyone. Toby also has been commissioned for freelance projects with Netflix, Rendezvous Hotel and Bayer among others.

“Kejiranan” directly translates to “neighbourhood” in Singapore’s national language, Bahasa Melayu. This project aims to use public art as a tool to engage young Singaporeans about the toponymy of Singapore’s neighbourhoods, on top of improving the urban design of Singapore’s neighbourhoods.
