Peripheral Movement

Abstract or Summary of Project

Peripheral Movement expresses our perception in the peripherals while day-dreaming. Our peripheral vision is the part of our range of view that is beyond the center of our focus. It takes up the largest portion of our visual field. Very often when we are day dreaming, we are lost in the clouds. We lose focus on our surroundings and all we can see are blurry, moving abstracted images.Ink molecules disperse in water and repel in soapy water. The action of dispersion and repulsion creates movement in the piece. Some area are darker with denser ink molecules and some are lighter, due to dispersion. It forms a dream-like illusion which is out of focus.
