Kitchen is the heart of our home, where we prepare meals that fuel the efforts and souls for our loved ones. However, there are a lot of inconveniences during the food preparation process which leads to frustrated. By observing the cutting process, my idea is to create a cutting board which is able to assist people with weak hands (e.g. Parkinson’s disease sufferers, elderly, even children) in completing the cutting task faster and safer. My aim is not only to design a functional product but to also provides the users with the experience of food preparation in a more pleasurable and productive manner.
