Delving into the design process, losing and finding myself back in the journey is a bittersweet experience that I love and hate. But I would do it all over again given the same opportunity.

Mujō is brought about by a personal curiosity and interest in how people broach end of life topics or rather, the lack thereof. Through further research, the findings show that not many Singaporeans are comfortable with broaching this sensitive topic as it is seen as a taboo in our society and culture.
Mujō is a conceptual candle holder that explores on the concept of the impermanence of things. Death is universal, thus the holder seeks to convey it simply and subtly without much religious implications.
As time passes, the wax melts, resulting in the candle holder to tilt from an upright position to a resting state, creating a metaphorical representation of mortality.
