3D in Your Hands (2014)
Description
Trios is a personal entertainment system inspired by the nostalgic ‘Viewmaster’ of our childhood and consists of two types of viewers – one stand alone and one handheld.
The uniqueness of Trios products is in the manner in which the 3D image is created from different inputs. Even a movie or short film streamed from YouTube can be seen in 3D through the two viewers. Other form of inputs maybe from a special 3D camera developed for this product, as well as DVD and Blu-ray from video player.
The aesthetics of Trios sets a new language for small volume projection by using laser cut materials together with 3D printed parts.
