Dandelion (2015)

Fabrizio Galli

Description

The Dandelion is a collaborative project derived from a Product Design course and involving an interdisciplinary team from ADM, ERIAN and NTU Museum.

The original proposal took inspiration from nature to design an energetically self-sufficient bioformic light installation. The concept underwent several rounds of redesign and development to meet the requirements of a visually appealing, cost-effective, functional structure that could supply its own energy needs. The installation is powered only by solar energy.
