This catalogue was published on the occasion of the exhibition ‘Undercurrents: Experimental Ecosystems in Recent Art’ held from May to June 2010 in New York. The exhibition, curated by the 2009-10 Curatorial Fellows of the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program, centres on the problem of ethical cohabitation on sociopolitical, cultural, and ecological levels.
