Vishwaroop (2014 – 2015)
Description
Vishwaroop (vishwa: universe and roop: form) is from Hindu philosophy and means the appearance of God or Brahma in forms that incorporate the creation of worlds and the universe within them. This dome installation includes the running of a 4 min 30 second animated film with music by sitar virtuoso Kartik Seshadri, which alternates with the real-time visual-music process that generated the movie and takes input from sensors in a “magic basket” in the environment.
