Description

As an Intern, you will be supporting the SDW organising team, led by Programming & Outreach (PO) and supported by these other units, to organise SDW 2019:

 

  1. Communications and International Relations (CIR);
  2. Industry Development (IDO);
  3. Market Development (MD); and
  4. Talent Development (TD).

 

Successful applicants will be allocated to the respective teams and will have the opportunity to work on these exciting programmes and more!

 

  1. District Activations
  2. Satellite Programmes (e.g. workshops, studio visits, etc.)
  3. SDW Opening
  4. UNESCO Creative City of Design Visit Programme for International Delegates
  5. UNESCO Creative City of Design Public Forum
Qualifications / Skill Requirements

Perform the following, including but not limited to:

  1. Organise key meetings with industry partners, government agenciesvendors, management and organising team
  2. Manage the SDW databases and ensure the accuracy of the information (e.g. details on partners, venue, sponsors, etc.)
  3. Manage the SDW Master Calendar of Events and ensure the accuracy of the information (e.g. event synopses, date, time, venue, etc.)
  4. Liaise with Dsg’s webmaster to ensure that the website is updated with the latest event updates
  5. Assist in the archival and documentation of all SDW documents and materials (pre-SDW and post-SDW)
  6. Provide on-site support for SDW key programmes (e.g. SDW 2019 Launch, Brainstorm, Wallpaper Handmade Exhibition, etc.), side engagement programmes (e.g. SDW Opening, Roundtables, Forums, Networking events, etc.) and UNESCO Creative City of Design Visit Programme for International Delegates and Public Forum
  7. Assist in preparing the post event reports on SDW and its programmes
  8. Assist in administering surveys and collating feedback from various SDW key and satellite partners, as well as Dsg units on their respective programmes
  9. Work closely with the PMs to identify insights from the feedback gathered
