Wellbeing Resources from the NTU University Wellbeing Office (UWO)

The University Wellbeing Office (UWO) is a centralised NTU unit that oversees and manages NTU well-being matters. They have all sorts of community resources across various media platforms that you can tap on to help manage your daily mental wellbeing.

Counselling Services

If you would like to speak with a counsellor for concerns or issues that are affecting your wellbeing, University Counselling Centre (UCC) provides counselling services for NTU students.

UCC’s Opening Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:45pm

Friday: 8:30am – 5:15pm

Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays: Closed

Follow the UWO Instagram account (@NTUwell) for an occasional dose of laughter for days when things are not exactly going your way.  They also have a very active Telegram channel (NTU wellbeing) with inspiring posts and tips on how to manage your own mental health. There is also a blog site for those who prefer to read articles that are categorized in a more organised manner.

UWO Self-help Resources (Student Intranet)

Lastly, there is a plethora of self-help resources, including resources for Life Skills such as stress management (find them towards the end of the UWO Self-Help Resources webpage!) prepared by the UWO on the NTU Student Intranet that you might not be aware of yet! Follow the instructions below to access them!

1. Log on to the Student Intranet

2. Select ‘Student Services’ from the menu on the top left

3. Select ‘Student Wellbeing’ from the dropdown menu, or scroll down to find it on the ‘Student Services’ webpage
