Migration to another NTU login system

by | May 5, 2020 | News

As advised by CITS, we will be migrating to another NTU login system on 11 May 2020, Monday between 8pm to 12am (previously 10pm as we were advised that it will take longer).

The ‘new’ NTU login system is identical to how you login to your library account, accessing library electronic resources, ServiceNow@NTU and others. There is no downtime for Blogs@NTU as this platform is maintained externally and hosted separately. The NTU login system is managed by CITS. All our public blogs are not affected and viewable as per normal.

However, intermittent login issues may be expected. Meaning, you may not be able to login to the dashboard during this period. Please update your blog before or after the migration. You may try to login again in 1-2 hours time.

If you encountered login issues, please do the following before trying again.

  1. Verify that your NTU username and password is correct.
  2. Empty the cache or browsing history.
  3. Completely exit the browser (closing tabs may not exit the app).
  4. Use incognito or private browsing mode.
  5. Use a different browser than the one you had used previously.
  6. Use a different computer or device.

If you require urgent access during the migration period, please email us at http://bit.ly/ntu-askalibrarian with the following details.

  • NTU email address.
  • Blog URL.
  • Reason for access during migration period.

There will be a minor change in user’s profile. The First Name and Last Name field will be non-editable. However, you may insert your preferred name at the Nickname field and select it from the Display Name dropdown list. Additionally, you will not be able to change your NTU email address.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. We hope this migration would vastly improved your login experience and minimise login errors.

Thank you for using Blogs@NTU.
