In this blog, we will be discussing on the effects of air pollutants and how air pollutants causes air pollution. Specially, we will be focusing on how the air pollutants lead to haze.

Understanding air pollution on the molecular level helps us acquire more knowledge on the detrimental effects that air pollution creates, thereby enabling us to introduce measures to regulate and monitor the pollution levels.  Furthermore, we come into contact with numerous kinds of air pollution every day, that it was crucial to reduce our exposure to some of the more toxic pollution through our understanding of this concept. Air pollution occurs on a large-scale basis, occurs in many various kinds, come in different concentrations and is constantly being generated. Specifically, haze is one of the air pollution that has tremendously affect people on the global scale. The problem of haze is critical as it not only put our health at risk, it also causes the loss of many lives.

In Singapore, it seems that the haze situation is mostly likely to occur annually in future, and hence, there is a need to be aware of its risks and take precautionary measures. Therefore, we will be looking into some of the causes of haze, its implications and the measures that the local and overseas government took to minimize the impact.
