Our group’s focus is on the green energy, which is also known as the renewable energy. They are generated from sources that are naturally replenished at a rate relatively insignificant to the average lifespan of humans.

This topic is of great interest considering the raising cost and difficulties of extracting fossil fuel as well as the potential hazard and pollution bought forward when using it. There are various different estimation on when will economically recoverable fossil fuels depletes, but one thing is for certain, it will be within the lifetime of an average human being.

Many countries around the world, including Singapore, have stepped up to invest in green energy technology as a alternative source of energy, estimated $214 billion are being invested into it for the year of 2013.
