Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas. It is produced by incomplete combustion of fuels. When carbon monoxide enters our body, it tightly binds to hemoglobin instead of oxygen. Thus, preventing the transportation of oxygen to cells, tissues, and organs.
