Group 25 Video 2 – Chemical Concepts of Haze

Haze is caused by particulate matter or PM, which is a mixture of solids and liquid droplets suspended in the air. These particles are released from vehicles, erupting volcanoes and complicated chemical reactions in factories. The chemical composition are organics, sulfates, nitrates, ammonium and elemental carbon.
