Group 25 Video 2 – Impact of Radical on Ozone

When CFC molecule absorbs ultraviolet radiation, a carbon-chlorine bond breaks and leads to the formation of chlorine radicals which can destroy many ozone molecules thereby destroying the ozone layer and may leads to adverse health effect.
