I went to Little India to buy some peacock feathers!
I thought it would be a cool idea to make the top using wash away fabric and sew my own feathers as well as combing real and hand-made together to cover the top! The element of wash away even gives a sense of the ‘reveal and conceal’ theme.
And then I will use the large/tall feathers for the skirt to create some sort of opening/closing fan motion to add to the reveal and conceal/peacock-ing ida.
