Drafting and Draping [2]

My initial plan was to create a peplum at the bottom following with a long drape that drops all the way to the floor. The above process gallery shows the process towards my initial idea sketch. With the holes in each pocket, my intended idea is to have some textile exploration which shows the corals and that’s also where my lights will be appearing.

 

This was the book which i borrowed from the library to study the different corals and how the structure affects the form of the textile.
