Funded Postdoctoral research fellow position (s) available in the lab from time to time, so just write me an email.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in one of the following fields: Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Structural Biology, Virology, and Immunology. Successful candidate’s duties include, but are not limited to:
Research duties: Be able to assist the lab PI to manage a project. Be able to design and perform experiments independently and work in a collaborative team environment. Master molecular biology techniques, cloning, DNA, RNA, and protein work. Experience with crystallography or electron microscopy is a plus.
Administrative duties: Work with the lab members to maintain orderliness in the laboratory, e.g., running through safety audits with School/University audit teams, maintaining a log of project-related laboratory equipment, consumables purchase, progress report writing, etc.
Education duties: mentoring undergraduate students taking URECA/FYP/Scholarly Projects.
