Thermochromic inks can change from colourless to colourful OR colourful to colourless very quickly. Although thermochromic inks were introduced in the 1970s, they are used extensively today.

MATERIALS:
A piece of cloth
Thermochromatic powder
Base Solution
Silkscreen board with patterns

METHOD:
1. Mix a spoonful of thermochromatic powder into the base solution. Mix well
2, Apply mixture and screen it on top of the cloth. Allow it to dry
3. Test out by placing printed cloth near the heat source and see it change colour
