Fiber Etch Fiber Remover is a gel which
creates decorative effects by removing fiber.
Fiber Etch® removes plant fibers: cotton, linen,
ramie, rayon and paper. It is also very
effective on fabric blends.
MATERIALS:
Fiber Etch Fiber Remover
Silk Viscose Velvet
Iron
Silkscreen board with pattern
METHOD:
1. Screen print pattern on the back of the fabric for velvet or satin
2. Dry thoroughly and iron until it turns brownish-burnt
3. Wash in warm water and dry the fabric
BLEACHING
Bleach refers to a number of chemicals which removes colors, often by oxidation. Fabric can be tied with knots or sprayed with bleach to create different effects
MATERIALS:
Bleach agent
Cloth
Spray

METHOD:
1. Lay cloth on a table
2. Pour bleaching agent into a spray container and spray over the cloth
3. Tying knots on the cloth also works with the bleaching agent to form different patterns
4. Allow the cloth to bleach before washing off to stop the process
5. Allow fabric to dry
