What is this technique?
Felting use a variety of primarily natural fibers and understanding of the process of how different materials react to pressure and moisture which result in organic effects that occur with natural shrinkage of different animal hairs combine and how they interlock with each other (wet felting) and interact with woven fabrics (Nuno-felting or “cloth” felting).
Reflections:
I really like all the methods of felting as it allows a lot versatility which o never imagined wool could offer. These methods allow me to have greater control of the outcome of the end product which I really like as I am able to better visualize and create the design.
