What is this technique?
Synthetic is inspired by natural latex which is a milky fluid found in many plants, such as poppies and spurges, which exudes when the plant is cut and coagulates on exposure to the air.
Reflections:
This method is really cool and fun. However, it is quite difficult to mix the food colouring evenly in the silicone and there were a lot of bubbles. The good thing is that it cured really fast and the detail captured is amazing.
