What is this technique?
A sheet of plastic material is heated to pliability, then pressed against a 3D mold by vacuuming out the air between the sheet, and the mold.
Reflections:
I do not really like this method as it wastes quite a lot of plastic as the exterior part after forming cannot be used. The objects that we can use for vacuum forming are quite limited as we have to consider how to remove the object from the mould without having to cut or destroy the mould. Hence, round shaped objects cannot be moulded.
