#GivingTuesday is a movement fuelled by social media and collaborations that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy with events throughout the year. It falls on 28 November this year in Singapore! Join in the spirit of Giving Week 2017 (28 November to 5 December) with this list, compiled by National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC)!

[DAY 1] Get online and get giving

Technology can do wonders and giving has never been easier!

Start a fundraising campaign for a charity of your choice, take part in the Great Giveaway, or share on Facebook to raise awareness of the movement.

[DAY 2] Liberty Art Jam

An initiative by Artify Studio, Liberty Art Jam is a 2.5 hours art jamming session that was created for the purpose of providing opportunities for people to paint in an inclusive environment. The cost per session will be based on how much customers value the sessions.

During Giving Week, 10% of the funds will be given to Drawn by a Nurse – an initiative to gather nurses to paint for a good cause. These paintings will also be auctioned off at the end of the year and all proceeds will be donated to TOUCH Home Care, a service of TOUCH Community Services.
