This night carnival coincides with the United Nation’s World Water Day (22 March) designated to celebrate the importance of water. It also serves as a perfect end to a month-long celebration for Singapore World Water Day 2019, which started earlier this month on 2 March.

The carnival highlights include a picnic under the stars, outdoor movie screening and fireworks display.

As part of the #GoBlue4SG movement, the buildings around Marina Barrage will be lit in blue, in support of the water cause. Everyone is encouraged to join in and come in blue and stand to enjoy discounts on products.

Guest-Of-Honour Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, Masagos Zulkifli will also be present to grace the event.
