The year is 2021. Climate change is wreaking havoc across the globe and political extremism. Leslie Chen is forced to abandon his home in England and move back to his birthplace, Singapore. Like a dragonfly that migrates around the world to survive, Chen now faces one of life’s biggest questions: what is the meaning of home?
A production by Pangdemonium and commissioned by Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA), Dragonflies seeks to explore these issues. It will be performed in English and there will be some Mandarin dialogue with English subtitles.
